Fulfilment
Collection-only is fine
Start with customer collection and add local delivery when your shop is ready.
For Basildon shops
Create a straightforward online storefront, take local orders and offer collection or delivery—all without needing to become a website expert.
Start with your best sellers, choose the local riders you want to work with and grow at your own pace.
Inside the shop dashboard
Take a short tour of orders, products, riders, deliveries, website activity, and shop settings.
The walkthrough uses demonstration information rather than real customer or rider details.
How it works
Create the owner account and reserve your shop address.
Add your opening hours, best sellers, fulfilment choices, and shop-owned payment route.
We check your settings, payment route, and storefront before approving it to go live.
Once approved and enabled, shoppers can find and order from you.
Fulfilment
Start with customer collection and add local delivery when your shop is ready.
Local rider network
Get access to approved local riders available through the platform. You decide which riders can collect from your shop, and you can remove access whenever needed. Riders remain free to accept or reject each job.
Your catalogue
You do not need your whole shop online on day one. Begin with 20 to 50 popular products, then expand using Quick Entry, photo drafts, and catalogue editing.
Simple public-beta pricing
No setup fee during public beta. Shoppers pay the £0.50 Basildon Delivery fee and any delivery or rider charge with their order. These amounts are included in the payment your shop receives and are then paid to Basildon Delivery. Your shop keeps its product revenue.
We ask shops to settle their Basildon Delivery balance nightly where possible. Each charge has an exact deadline no later than 72 hours after it is created.
Your payment provider may charge transaction fees on the shopper's payment.
Your payments
Connect your shop's own Worldpay or Mollie account and let customers pay through a secure hosted checkout. Your payment provider processes the shopper's payment and pays your shop, while Basildon Delivery manages the order and delivery journey.
Use Worldpay Hosted Payment Pages to give customers a familiar, secure card checkout linked to your shop's own Worldpay account.
Connect Mollie Checkout for a straightforward hosted payment experience, with payments received directly into your shop's Mollie account.
Basildon Delivery does not process or hold the shopper's checkout payment. Your provider handles it securely and pays your shop; your shop then pays the platform and rider amounts included in that payment to Basildon Delivery.
